Protecting the victims’ victims in ambient victimocracy

The ground rule these days is that bad people in selected areas, or those who are held to fall in this category, have no rights and may be lynched socially and professionally (not yet physically…), slandered on the grounds of a twitter message.

[Some individual cases of visctims’ victims are described on the Blog.]

The areas in question are those that political correctness is built on: sexism, racism, homophobia, xenophobia (migrants), maybe climate is catching up with these… (say in a relevant urban, educated, especially academic environment that the earth has known other high temperature periods before man interfered and you will see). Other areas are not concerned: the same people who call for lynching sexists, racists etc. will defend the rights of regular criminals who have, say, slaughtered their neighbor, are accused of drug-related crimes etc. Here the regular legal and civilizational standards apply: they have done something bad, but they are still humans and cannot be slandered in absence of legal conviction.

You have the right to do anything with racists, sexists, homophobes, xenophobes etc., in violation of all laws and legal / civilizational standards: fire them from their jobs or from university, take rumors for reality without knowing anything about the facts, erase them from artwork. And everybody applauds when this happens.

There are enough people around to do all that. Not many who speak out saying that even bad people have rights. In victomocracy, only victims have rights and nothing else matters (see this one). A job that needs to be done these days is to recall relevant enlightenment-based and civilizational standards to victimologists who currently build up victimocray and a 21st century puritanist society (including censorship on art and history).

Part of that is to protect the victims of the victims. Some relevant cases are discussed in individual blog posts.

One thing these cases show is that the dominant ideology’s vocabulary – discrimination, exclusion etc. – only applies to victims of certain categories, i.e. those that have been decided are victims beforehand: women, coloured people, homosexuals, handicapped people etc. Those who have been declared offenders, either individually or collectively – white people, men, white supremacists, Trump voters etc. – may be happily excluded and discriminated against. This is not only tolerated, but pushed and publically called for.

First it is decided who is good and bad – then the good (victims) have all kinds of rights which the bad don’t have. This is equality in brave new victimocracy. Just like it was before, with tables having been turned: today’s bad guys were the good guys 50 years back, ruling and discriminating against today’s good guys. Now the former bad guys are ruling, and they do pay-back: today’s bad guys have a hard time. What hasn’t changed is is the system divided into good and bad guys, the ruling class determining the categories and persecuting or discriminating against the bad guy category.
